The Pop Shop features American diner classics. We offer scratch-made comfort food for foodies and their families. Our kitchen is dedicated to using top-notch ingredients in exciting and delicious ways so that kids get food they really like and parents do not have to sacrifice quality.
Age Appropriate The Pop Shop offers three children’s menus! The “Squirts” menus are designed, sized and priced according to age-appropriate appetites and preferences. There’s one for big kids ages 5 to 10 (Big Squirts); little kids ages under 5 (Little Squirts); and even a menu for babies (Baby Squirts)!
Great Value Because of the choice of three portion sizes, parents can save money by purchasing just the right amount of food for their child. As parents, the owners of The Pop Shop know it’s frustrating to buy a $5 meal for the 3 year-old who eats three bites and then claims to be “full.” (They have one of those.) Big Squirt items range from $3.95 to $2.75. Little Squirts items range from $3.25 to $ 1.95. All Baby Squirt choices are $.99.
Both Healthy and Fun While The Pop Shop Squirts menus have the requisite chicken fingers and hot dogs they offer lots more that are both fun and healthy.

The Pop Shop is Fun The Pop Shop is a neighborhood place. Our dining room is both nostalgic and exciting with bubble gum colors and large graphics making it a destination for all ages, especially children. Kids can sit at the 1950’s soda fountain, spin on the stools and watch the soda jerks make magical ice cream concoctions.
Each child receives a soda jerk hat (just like the ones our soda jerks wear) and crayons and stickers to help decorate them. Free quarters are supplied for kids who want to choose songs from the 1953 juke box. A lending library of picture and chapter books is also available.
The Pop Shop also has weekly children’s event such as the Saturday Morning Pajama Party. Each child dressed in PJ’s receives a free breakfast when accompanied by a paying adult. Once a month families enjoy Kids Karaoke Night. Kids even helped kick off 2006 with a New Year’s Eve Kazoo Parade.
We Give Back to Kids The owners, executive chef, and general manager of The Pop Shop are all parents and all live in Collingswood. We are committed to giving back to the community and are active in local school fund-raising efforts. The Pop Shop’s School Nights are held on Tuesdays nights. School PTAs and kids sports teams are invited to gather their troops and eat at The Pop Shop. Fifteen percent of the night’s sales are donated to the organization. During Kids Karaoke Night, a one dollar donation is requested per song and all donations are given to the historic Ritz Theater for their summer children’s outreach program.
We Enjoy Serving Kids We’re happy to cut the crusts of bread, sell just half a sandwich, and provide organic baby food. We sell kid sized milkshakes and make chocolate milk to order in fun take-home cups. We always have Goldfish on hand for hungry kids. Our servers are specially trained to meet the needs of younger guests and we appreciate any feedback you can give us to make your dining experiences even more enjoyable.

We Keep in Touch Parents can sign their children up for the Kids Cone Club. Club members receive an official soda jerk hat and honorary Soda Jerk status; a gift certificate for a free cone; birthday card and gift certificate for a free kid’s meal; and special invitations to kid-friendly events such as our special end-of-school-celebration party.
We’re Thinking About the Future Our hope is that The Pop Shop holds an important part in children's memories. That they will remember it as the place everyone in town went after games, for birthday dinners, or to celebrate a great report card. We hope teens will come after school, have some fries, and feed the juke box. We hope young families will know that they are appreciated and welcomed - even on a Saturday night. Kids are not an afterthought at The Pop Shop. To us, they are good customers and future foodies.
