Dr. Seuss Week!!

Dr. Seuss fans — both young and old — are invited to attend the Dining with Dr. Seuss Week celebration Monday, February 27 through Friday, March 2, 2012 at The Pop Shop.
The Pop Shop has created a week’s worth of fun events and kid’s menu of wild and wacky Seuss-inspired fare including Daisy-Head Mayzie Burgers, Grinch’s Roast Beast, Pink Yink Ink Drink, and, of course — Green Eggs and Ham! The special Seuss menu will be available everyday beginning at 11:30am for lunch and dinner. SEE MENU

MONDAY 2/27: Horton Hears a Who Day
- Storytime Lunch: The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 11:30 to 1:30pm. A special guest will read “Horton Hears a Who” at 11:30. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animals to cuddle. The movie “Horton Hears a Who” will be on our TV.
- Dinner with Seuss: The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 5 to 7pm. A special guest will read “Horton Hears a Who” at 5:15pm. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animals to cuddle. The movie “Horton Hears a Who” will be on our TV.
- Pop Quiz Trivia: Our team trivia quiz game will feature Dr. Seuss book and movie trivia. 7:30 to 9pm. Held in our Party Room.
TUESDAY 2/28: Cat in the Hat Day
- Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast! The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 9 to 10am. A special guest will read “The Cat in the Hat” at 9:30am. Special Seuss breakfast will be available. Children are encouraged to wear their most creative or favorite hats. All children wearing a hat will receive a coupon for free ice cream cone. “The Cat in the Hat” movie will play on our TV.
- Storytime Lunch The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 11:30 to 2pm. A special guest will read “The Cat in the Hat” at 11:30am. Children are encouraged to wear their most creative or favorite hats. All children wearing a hat will receive a coupon for free ice cream cone. “The Cat in the Hat” movie will play on our TV.
- Dinner with Seuss: The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 5 to 7pm. A special guest will read “The Cat in the Hat” at 5pm. Customers are encouraged to wear their most creative or favorite hats. All children wearing a hat will receive a coupon for free ice cream cone coupon. “The Cat in the Hat” movie will play on our TV.
WEDNESDAY 2/29: Wacky Wednesday
- Storytime Lunch: The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 11 to 2pm. A special guest will read “Wacky Wednesday” at 11:30 am. Children are encouraged to wear their wackiest outfits. Since it’s Wacky Wednesday AND Leap Year, dessert will be served first (at parent’s discretion!) for all kids who leap.
- Seussical Karaoke: The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 4:30 to 6pm. Karaoke is held in our party room and professionally DJ’d. No charge to sing. Regular menu and Seuss menu available. Everyone is encouraged to wear their wackiest outfits. Since it is Wacky Wednesday AND Leap Year, dessert will be served first (at parent’s discretion!) for all kids who leap.
- Dinner with Seuss: A special guest will read “Wacky Wednesday” at 5:15 pm. The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 5 to 7pm. Everyone is encouraged to wear their wackiest outfits. Since it is Wacky Wednesday AND Leap Year, dessert will be served first (at parent’s discretion!) for all kids who leap.
- Special “wacky” milkshakes and food for adults too!
THURSDAY 3/1: Lorax Day
- Storytime Lunch The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 11:30 to 2pm. A special guest will read “The Lorax” at 11:30am. Children are encouraged to wear green. Children will make a Truffula Tree craft. “The Lorax ” cartoon will play on our TV.
- Dinner with Seuss: The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 5 to 8pm. A special guest will read “The Lorax” at 5:15pm. Children are encouraged to wear green. Children will make a Truffula Tree craft. “The Lorax” cartoon will play on our TV.
FRIDAY 3/2: The Foot Day
- Butter Battle Pajama Breakfast! The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 9 to 10am. A special guest will read “The Foot Book” at 9:30am. Special Butter Battle breakfast will be available. Children are encouraged to wear their craziest socks or footie pajamas.
- Storytime Lunch: The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 11:30 to 2pm. A special guest will read “The Foot Book” at 11:30. Children are encouraged to wear their craziest socks or footie pajamas.
- Pajama Party Dinner:. A special guest will read “The Foot Book” at 5pm. Children are encouraged to wear their footie pajamas. Adults who wear PJ’s get $1 off their meal. (Must be actual matching tops and bottoms pajamas.)
