I'm really sure you should.
Right on Haddon Avenue.
There it is right next to you.
There's more than 30 different kinds.
So come on the Pop Shop is a wonderful find!

Tastes awful great but can't say its nutritious

Gotta Stop at the Pop Shop
One day while Googling soda fountain drinks,
We came upon The Pop Shop and what did we think?
I wonder if this place is close to our house?
I Mapquested the directions to check it out.
The Pop Shop’s in Collingswood,
We live in DC.
How am I going to get me some of their yummy grilled cheese?
Lo and behold we did quickly realize,
The Pop Shop was in the middle of our DC to New York drive.
And then Bobby Flay,
He cinched the deal.
We knew we had to stop for a meal.
Thirty-something choices,
It was grilled cheese galore!
Grilled cheese with bacon, with turkey and more.
Wheat bread, white bread, rye bread too.
So many to choose from –
A grilled cheese dream come true!
And of course the ice cream, the shakes, malts and egg creams.
Endless dessert choices or so it seemes.
I love grilled cheese at the Pop Shop!
It is totally worth the detour and stop!

Mom’s Grand Breakfast
Be sure the little child shall come
and get red ketchup on her face;
her pajama top will crinkle some
and spilled juice will be a disgrace.
But her little face will smile a lot,
as her dimples make their space.
Some dripped syrup will leave a spot
when she gets her “betties” sliced in place.
Mom will tell little Joe to stop;
his antics are causing a frowned face.
Its Mom’s breakfast at the Pop Shop;
it’s Saturday morn, the Shop’s the place.
The bright balloons fly high on top;
the white hat drops, covers Joe’s face.
It’s Mom’s fun feast at the Pop Shop.
On this sweet morn, it’s Mom’s home base.

Trials of a teenager
Oh to pretend to be a little mouse
to slip in when the lights are down
And have to myself the entire house
for but me to just run around.
Sure I could wait for my folks to all leave
to go off down to the Pop Shop
For some sweet fancy food I do believe.
That’s where they make their Friday stop.
Now I could play my games of X Box dare;
snuggled up in my warm hoodies.
But left all home alone would that be fair,
with them eating all those goodies?
Tonight I shall not be a little mouse;
food at the Pop Shop’s to be done.
I shall instead with my folks leave the house,
have a sundae like a good son.
