2008 Cheesy Poetry Contest Adult Winner LET’S GO  The Pop Shop; the Pop Shop Have you ever been? I keep asking this of all my kin. I love the place it’s truly neat; Their gooey grill cheese you surely must eat.  Let’s go; let’s go I continually implore; You’ll be hooked; you’ll be hooked forevermore. Don’t be silly you’re from Philly comes their retort; Surely we have something here of the same sort.  No longer do we have such places; With Moms and Pops and familiar faces. It’s worth the trip I tell you true; Bring the kids; bring the kids-bring one; bring a slew! It’s Nostalgic, it’s new, it’s really fun; Be it trivia, Karaoke or cheese on a bun. The first is chewy and crispy, slightly brown The second, the same, only upside down The third, you might guess, can be Cheddar, Swiss or even brie.   There’s almost no limit to what the third can be.   I slap them together and throw ‘em on the heat. Wait sixty seconds, flip and repeat. I pull up a chair or run to the top of a hill.
