Andrew Andrew Kolecki is the guy I would like to nominate to be the king of Grilled Cheese.  He is my 2 year old brother and cheese aficionado.  Well, every time we go to the Pop Shop he orders "grilled chee".  "We go Pop Shop"  "I color and habe grilled Chee".  Grilled cheese is also a favorite at home, but it just doesn't disappear as quickly.  Andrew is also adventurous with his grilled cheese, he eats it with ham and even tomatoes on a rare occasion.    Andrew is also a lover of all cheese: "square cheese, deli cheese, cheese sticks" need I go on.  He also has a cheesey smile when taking photos.  Thank You, Tyler Kolecki age 4 Gretchen Kolecki (mommy age ?) Sarah I would like to nominate a pretty great lady named Sarah O'Brien to be this year's Pop Shop Grilled Cheese Queen.  Not only does she love grilled cheese or anything deep fried, but your place of business has found a special place in her heart to the point that she even carved a pumpkin in your honor with the store's logo on it and donated it to the store in appreciation of what you do so well - serve terrific food.  I now live in Los Angeles, but every time I come home - it's a must that we eat at The Pop Shop because Sarah is dying to get me try something else on the menu.  She takes everyone  she meets to your place and is always talking about how delicious everything is.  The other day I was on the phone with her and she couldn't wait to tell me about the Grant grilled cheese because of the extra bacon - she's a bacon freak.  You make my friend smile and feel better about life because of what you do and that in turn makes her a better person and she's spreading the good news of your restaurant across the nation (literally).  Please consider Sarah O'Brien as your Grilled Cheese Queen.  Kate   Our Nominees Myranda This is a nomination for Grilled Cheese Queen, Myranda Bourgeois. Myranda is 4 years old and eats so many grilled cheese sandwiches, she might as well have cheese squishing out of her ears!     Michael & Allie I nominate my son, Michael and daughter, Allie to be Grilled Cheese King and Queen. At any given moment of the day … breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack time … if asked what they want to eat, they ask for grilled cheese and tomato soup. My children will even take a pre-made grilled cheese with them to school in their lunchbox and eat it cold. They like them on white bread, wheat bread, rye bread, English muffins...whatever!   My 93 year old grandfather always says to them, “you are going to look like a grilled cheese!”   My children deserve to be named King and Queen!   Zizzy The person who I would like to nominate as the Grilled Cheese Queen is my sister, Melissa, who I call “Zizzy”.  She is a lot older than me.  In fact, she’s graduating from college in a few weeks.  So, you can see, Zizzy is like a second mom to me.  I love her very much and she shares my love of cooking.  When mom and dad go out, we like to make grilled cheese sandwiches which we dip in tomato soup.  When the weather is calling for snow, to the deli we go to get cheese for our grilled cheese sandwiches…and some tomato soup with cheese on top, and extra pepper which we devour after sledding.  We cuddle up on the couch and watch cartoons or maybe one of her dumb college reality shows together.  We especially like the many choices we have at The Pop Shop because it gives us some new ideas for our grilled cheese times together.  Mommy says that her mom always made grilled cheese and tomato soup when she was a little girl.  Thank you, Nanie, for having good taste.  Grilled cheese is warm and comforting, much like the way I feel when I am with my sister, Zizzy.  Please choose her as the new Grilled Cheese Queen because she's the cheesiest sister I know. Tyler Barna West Deptford Leah I would like to nominate my daughter Leah Peshkin as the grilled cheese queen.  She is a beautiful 10 year old girl  with a heart of gold, that does so may sweet things for so many people.  The swim team coaches gave her the Coach's Award and described her as the one that smiled even when she complained. Leah is really the Carb Queen.  She adores the POP SHOP'S super duper grilled cheese and her diet consists of pasta, bread, cheese and .... more cheese.  The other night I made cheese sauce to get her to eat broccoli and she ate the entire bowl of sauce by herself.  Leah would be the nicest queen, with the best smile any Queen could ever have.  Cheese is her life!    She truly deserves the title.
