Chocolate Seder – April 10
Friends and families - of all faiths - are invited to celebrate Passover at The Pop Shop with a Chocolate Dessert Seder. The Seder will be held in the Party Room on Thursday, April 10 at 6:30pm and led by Cantor Scott Borsky.
Typically, parsley dipped in saltwater, flatbread and wine are served at a Seder. The parsley signifies spring and the saltwater is a reminder of the tears of enslaved ancestors. And the wine signifies a better way of life.
At The Pop Shop's Chocolate Seder, the kids will eat green M&Ms, chocolate fudge, and chocolate covered matzoh. Jugs of chocolate milk will stand in for wine. And since it's The Pop Shop - there will be some ice cream, too!
Cost is $8.99 per person. The Party Room will open at 5 and The Pop Shop's full menu will be available for guests who wish to have dinner before the Seder. Reservations are required. Call 856-869-0111 ext. 5.
